LG Launches Its First-Ever UltraGear Gaming Laptop, Featuring a 300 Hz Display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU

LG is adding a high-end gaming laptop to its ultraportable range with the launch of the 15.6 inch LG UltraGear, which features NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU and a 300 Hz display resolution for improved visuals. The new machine also boasts of an aluminum design, making it more durable than other laptops in this price range.

With the release of the 17G90Q, LG’s first gaming laptop, the firm has officially joined the gaming laptop market.

LG’s UltraGear 17G90Q gaming laptop comes with an 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake H CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU, dual-channel RAM, a twin SSD system, and a vapor chamber to keep high temperatures under control. Its display is a 17-inch IPS screen with a 1-millisecond reaction time and up to 300 Hz refresh rate.

The 17G90Q boasts a sleek, highly-portable design that shares DNA with LG’s lightweight gram laptops, according to the manufacturer.
